Carmen Gonzalez! What do we know about her? Well, she has been in the field of education for the past 30 plus years. She is married to another educator in Eduardo Gonzalez. She is a school board member. But now come the things you may have not heard.
Carmen Gonzalez has been and will be associated with the Palacios family. Carmen does have the majority on the school board. And she is the one in charge of that little group of hers. She puts a lot of pressure on our superintendent.
But then the promise was! We will give you the position of superintendent. Only if you follow our rules. Not the rules of the taxpayers but her rules.
Rule # 1 Move Robert Alaniz from the athletic dept. Gilbert did that only to have it changed later on.
Rule # 2 We will give EMS an extra $15,000. Because EMS feels that since Barrientes has opened up. It means more work for them and more gas spent.
Rule #3 Mary Alice Palacios and her truancy court. She will come up in front of the board. To ask for more employees. Which is legal! But what you don't know is that the district will continue to pick her family members to work with her. Since, the district is picking the applicants. It is not nepotism. It's nice to have Omar Palacios on the board.
Rule #4 For whatever reason! No one is to find out about Carmen's arrest that happened at South Padre Island. The arrest was for family violence.
Rule #5 Time to screw the custodians of the Edinburg School Dist. Yes, folks even Carmen has a hand in that.
Rule #6 No one is to know that Carmen works for a book company. A company that has made huge amounts of money since Carmen has been on the board.
Rule #7 David Torres' kid gets found with a weapon at school And the district comes out and says that it was an accident. While other students get found with a weapon at school. And they throw the book at them. Equally served! I think not!
Rule #8 Carmen meets with Nick P every morning for breakfast at the Adobe bar and grill. She is usually accompanied with Gene Espinoza.
Rule #9 Carmen will always be faithful to the P family. Which means more jobs for the P family.
Rule #10 What Carmen does! Ciro will follow!
