Carmen and co are trying to confuse everyone. So let me keep it short and simple.
They can vote on three things:
Have an election in may. Then every four years.
Or
Have an election in November. Which means the board members would be given an extra six months. Then every four yrs.
Or
Leave it the way it is ( With NO Penalty)
Senator Hinojosa has already said that the bill was meant for one school dist. Not all schools.
A hint to the school board members. Leave it the way it is. If you vote for something else. Your abusing your power. We should decide the voters of ECISD not the school board members. Eventually, you will face the voters.
