Should The School Board Members Be Fingerprinted?

It seems logical after finding out that Carmen Gonzalez was arrested for family violence.

A new state law that takes effect Jan. 1 requires all school employees to be fingerprinted, so national background checks can be run. School volunteers, who aren't parents or guardians of a student, don't have to be fingerprinted, but they, too, have to undergo background checks, unless they're just volunteering for a one-time event.
