And they are not happy.
It has come to my attention once again that school
board president Carmen Gonzalez and Superintendent
Gilbert Garza are already eliminated THE ECISD POLICE
DEPARTMENT PATROL.
This is all being done under the radar and under the
table.
Why not go public with this Gilbert Garza and Carmen
Gonzalez?
Why don't you tell the public how there will be nobody
taking care of our kids at schools after 4:00?
What happened to TAKING CARE OF OUR CHILDREN BEING THE
#1 PRIORITY?
What about our staff who decide to stay late? Who is
going to be protecting them?
Our sources have already called and spoken to several
board members who are against this move, however
Carmen Gonzalez and Gilbert Garza are already bragging
to people in their inner circle about how much money
they are going to save the district.
WELL HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK OUR CHILD'S LIVES ARE
WORTH?????????
Our Superintendent has been telling school board
members that he has already worked up a plan to have
Edinburg Pd, The Sheriff's Office and McAllen Police
take over the calls.
Well, our sources have already spoken to high ranking
officers in all police departments and they have no
idea what our superintendent is talking about. they
have not agreed to anything with the school district.
I quote a very high ranking official,
"Does Gilbert Garza think we have police officers that
can patrol schools while I have a burglary in progress
or domestic violence call?" NO!!!!
We have already told the Superintendent and Carmen
Gonzalez that there is no way this "STUPID IDEA" is
going to work. But how dare a citizen tell Gilbert
Garza or Carmen Gonzalez how they are wrong. According
to several sources around Gilbert Garza this will be
done by the time everybody gets back from vacation on
July 26th.
I called McAllen ISD Police Department and spoke to
another very very very high ranking official that
said,
"We have our day patrol and evening patrol. That
means, that someone is on the road until 12:00 am
Monday thru Friday.
They only way we did away with patrol is the fact that
all of our schools are within the McAllen City Limits,
we would not have closed down night patrol if we had
more than one agency do deal with.
What the Edinburg ISD Administration is trying to do
is very dangerous.
They are eliminating patrol completely. Who is going to
be watching your kids after school?
I am now asking every parent, staff or community
member who reads this blog to speak up before it's too
late. I will not stand by and watch these people tell
me what is safe for my children.
I will not put my children in a SCHOOL DISTRICT, that thinks it's safe
to have no police patrol or security around my child
after 4:00.
Here we go again putting our kids in harms way. You want to cut corners and save money? Take a pay cut Gilbert Garza. You are NO superintendent.
