Over 65? If you are over 65 and you want to avoid all the people you can print your application and mail it to the county clerk's office. Then they will mail you a ballot. Here is the site!
Endorsements:
We endorse Barack Obama. Ask yourself if you better off than you were 4 years ago. I can answer by the word NO! Economy is up, cost of living is up, cost for education is up, need I say more!
Local Races
We endorse Gilbert Enriguez for ECISD School Board! Carmen Gonzalez has been around education all of her life. She has even been superintendent for Edinburg. Which means she knows the rules and laws inside out. She knows exactly what she is doing by sitting on the board and voting for her employer. That is a CRIME! Not to mention the police report she got for beating up on her husband.
She has broken the law time and time again. Another thing to think about are the Palacios. With them it's not about me, you, my kids or yours! It's about contract after contract and finding a job for all of the P's. Not to mention the $90,000 Gladdis Ortega got for buying materials from Carmen's employer.
We endorse Carlos Ramos!
Ciro Trevino is just running on Carmen's coat tails. The only thing he cares about is making sure one of the three fine art buildings will be named after his son. Again, it's about there self interest and nothing to do with you, me, my kids or yours.
