Ochoa Does It Again!

Eight hundred jobs coming to the city of Edinburg. And the one to thank is none other than the Mayor of Edinburg. Way to go Joe! Our local st rep has the highlights on his blog here it is. Again thanks!

Governor Perry was in town today at the University of Texas Pan American to make the announcement that Santana Textiles, one of the world's largest producer of denim, will be coming to the Valley. This company is expected to create about 800 jobs. The average salary at the plant will be about $26,000 per year.

$1.65 million from the Texas Enterprise Fund was used to entice the company to build in Edinburg. This is the first project in the Rio Grande Valley to be awarded money from the Enterprise Fund. The plant will be built in the North Industrial Park of Edinburg with land donated by the city for the project.

Another development ready for action is the new DPS office. They want to call Edinburg home. The only thing standing in the way is non other than Richard Garcia. He does not want this project to go through. Cause it will be another significant project by our mayor.

A word to Garcia! Let it go! Give in and let us witness the new DPS office located in Edinburg. It will bring more money to our local merchants. You can't win them all Richard.

Richard doesn't want to give any spotlight to mayor Joe Ochoa. You see, Richard plans to run again. And he can not afford for Ochoa to get any sort of spotlight.

It will be the same ole thing Richard Garcia running for mayor. While the Palacios family will all be walking the streets for him. Like they did last time. It will be the same result if not worse. We don't want your leadership in Edinburg. The voters spoke loud and clear last time you ran! Can't you get the hint!
