Allegations are popping up left and right. This allegation is in reference to EMS and the Edinburg School Dist. Seems, that since the opening of Barrientes school. EMS felt that they needed more money on the current contract. A raise of $15,000 dollars to be exact. They pitched this as a new school opens means more work for EMS means they needed more money.
Did the school board vote on giving EMS the $15,000 raise? No! Instead our superintendent Gilbert Garza was the one who signed off on this. Why take it to the superintendent and not the edinburg school board? I guess they didn't want this to come out in the open.
Another allegation is that there are two bids for next years school session. EMS has submitted an outrageous bid. Meaning, the numbers they are offering are way to high. And the other bid is coming from Vital Line. Which the numbers look very reasonable. The contract has been up in front of the board three times. Only to be tabled all three times. What's the hold up? Carmen and co are trying to figure out a way to give the contract to EMS. Try explaining that to the voters of Edinburg.
As for the City of Edinburg!
The Edinburg Coyotes are late on the rent. Instead of kicking them out. Just like they did to the Roadrunners. The city council felt it was there duty to give the Coyotes an extra $35,000 to cover the rent. Yes folks, your hard earned tax dollars at work. The three stooges are to blame for this. And one of the stooges is up for re election next year. I wonder if he will be able to handle all the negative press? Only one way to find out!

Aaron Pena is trying to take credit for this new Brazilian company that is coming to Edinburg. Just look at his blog. How did Aaron Pena fit in to all this? He doesn't! He lies and lies and lies! Just to make himself look like he is doing something for his dist. Now, it seems that he is on the Obama bandwagon. I'm sure Obama doesn't want to have anything to do with you after what you did to poor Hillary Clinton.
A note to Aaron Pena get up off your ass and go work for your dist. Your legacy is going to be that you are a Republican in Democratic clothing. Go do something for your dist. And quit trying to take credit for everything that other people did to make this city what it really is. An All American City!
