So, what is the rush about getting this thing bought by the city? It's another Richard Garcia thing trying to help his friends. The group consists of a lot of gringos and all of the people over at FNB.
Reports are we don't even have the monies to maintain the existing parks that we have. And we want to go out and purchase this thing for $5 million dollars. Why? Help out the existing parks and hold off on this thing. My gosh the city has a lease on it for another five years.
Alma is only looking out for her people. And you could see it at the meeting. So a word of advice to the councilmembers. Chillout this thing is going nowhere for another five years. FNB is not Edinburg. The P family is not Edinburg. Edinburg is a community of over 70,000 folks. Start acting like the leaders of the 70,000. Instead of just a few!
