Well, I think it's safe to say we have seen the last of cheap gas prices. That being said. What are you going to do? Are you going to wait until our govt. does something? And by waiting you will continue to pay high gas costs. Or are you going to do something about it? So, the next question is what can you as a consumer do? Well, you can get rid of the SUV, or the V6 or V8 engine you drive. And get something more economical. I know how society as a whole does not like change. But if we don't do something. I strongly see a shortage of oil coming.
We need to find an alternative to oil. And we can start by getting a vehicle that will not consist of oil. The new hybrid vehicles are a good start. Yes, it has an engine but you will get way better miles to the gallon on one of these compared to what you have now. The future of vehicles will consist of it being all electic. The oil shortage is for sure. The question is when! Are you ready to do without oil? It's time to start looking at other alternatives. Because the question is not about an oil shortage. The question is when will the shortage begin.
