Early vote begins this coming Monday. On the ballot are two key city council races and a bond election. Let's take them one by one.
The first race!
Lonny Guerrero is taking on Hot Check Gene Espinoza. So what do we know about Gene? Well, he is a Palacios puppet. He said NO on the tax freeze for the elderly and disabled. He gave La Sienna Dev. a 15 million tax break.
He went over budget some 10 million dollars on the new edinburg city hall. He went over budget some 4 million dollars on the new police station. He is employed by Rio Grande Steel. Which got the subcontract for the new city hall.
Conflict of interest? Your damn right it is! Does he use the council seat to make an extra buck or two? Well, he is a sales rep. And the more steel he sells the more commission he gets. Not only should this fat boy step down from office. He should be prosecuted all conflicts of interest come with a class A misdemeanor.

Bond election
Do we need the classrooms? Yes we do! But we don't need 20 million dollars in fine art centers. Whatever happened to the 40 million UTPA fine art center Aaron Pena was taking credit for?
The bond election is costing $20,000. Who is paying for it? Who has donated to this Yes 4 kids pac? And there you will find who will become a millionaire overnight. So I encourage all to vote NO but a big Hell No!
