You can steal money legally or illegally. I took my son to the doctor's cause he had a cold. And boy was I in for a surprise. The first thing they ask is where is the insurance card?I felt like if my card was like a blank check. And that they would fill in the amount after they were done.
My son was there for a flu mind you.Then came test after test. Then I started to wonder. They charge $75.00 just for you to walk in the door. And the more tests that are done. The bigger the charge will be.
Then I looked at the lobby. And saw about maybe 20 people waiting to see the doc. The question that came to mind is. Do any of these people ever question the doc? Why this test? Or why that test? As long as you have an insurance card. These doctors are practically stealing from you. Then they tell you don't worry. You got insurance. Then you wonder why your monthly premiums keep going up. The doctors are the ones making a killing. And we the patient suffer in the long run. Can anything be done?
