What Other People Are Saying About Aaron Pena

Campaign donations in the wink of an eye

Pena, Flores and Bailey said they didn’t solicit the money and were not familiar with the PAC that gave them their largest contributions. Peña said his $50,000 check just showed up in the mail one day. How nice. Peña said he isn’t returning the money, either: “It’s spent.”

First smart thing Dukes did since being elected.

Never worry folks. Whenever the Leg passes laws to prohibit or limit these types of abuses, a small loophoop or trapdoor is always left open so that they can always say “I didn’t do anything that was illegal”. They can’t be trusted, period.

These are the same people who passed the special rules that allowed PEC’s management to run amuck with little or no oversight.

Thanks you Rep. Dukes for turning this tainted money down. I hope the voters in your district notice that you choose right vs. money.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. This guy is of the 50’s mentality in Texas politics. And if you want a second opinion….

It’s so clear that Craddick is taking a page from his copy of tom delay’s Manual of Sleaze and Corruption. Do those people think that they are going to get away with just about anything they want to - like the badministration in the White House?

By John Gillnitz
Craddick is a bully and a crook. Its obvious that he is trying to pull a DeLay. He needs to go, along with the DINOs that voted for him. Get ‘em Ronnie!

They think the world of you Rep! Keep up the good work!
