Tonight from six to nine Gene Espinoza will officially kickoff his campaign at the Adobe in Edinburg. Pretty ironic to have it at the Adobe. Since this is the Palacios hangout every morning.Where all the deals get cut! Right Nick!
Gene will talk about how it is not a conflict of interest. For him to continue to vote on contracts for his employer Rio Grande Steel. He will also discuss that under his leadership. He saw the new edinburg city hall go over budget in excess of 10 million dollars.
He will also discuss that under his leadership. He was able to get a new edinburg police station for only 4 million over budget.
He will also discuss why he told the elderly and disabled to go to hell over the tax freeze.
Master of ceremony will be Aaron Pena. Aaron will talk about extending his hand to the Republican Party. And getting a check in return. Aaron will say how we need to keep Gene on board. So, they can continue to both write hot checks to the city.
