I personally don't pay attention to much on the endorsements. I believe in hard work and educating the people. If someone wants to endorse a particular candidate. That's fine by me. More power to them. But here is the thing. What is an endorsement? That, so and so decides to help so and so. And because we like so and so. We must vote for that person. Lol did you understand that? And really, how many times does that really happen?
Let's look at Aaron Pena's endorsements. All of these people don't even live in his dist. What about the former mayors? Ahh, let's look at the word former. The word former literally means. I was once an elected official. But now that I'm out. I have nothing to lose but to endorse Aaron Pena. I will not have to answer to the people. That being said. I will endorse a Republican.
How many elected officials has Aaron Pena been endorsed by? Not former officials. I mean currently elected officials? NOT ONE! And you know why not one has endorsed him? It would be political suicide. How would that person explain to the voters that he or she endorsed a Republican.
As for Eddie Saenz! Just look at his endorsements. Current mayors, current school board members, current city council members. And all these people live in dist. 40.
