Imagaine your at a city hall meeting. And up to the podium is Gilbert Enriquez, owner of Enriquez Enterprises. The projects he is doing is to finish up the police station and the brand new city hall being built.
He goes up to the podium and asks for a change order of let say $100,000. Do you think Gene Espinoza should vote for or against the change order? Before you answer that. Then you find out that not only did Enriquez Enterprises get the bids to finish the police station and the new city hall. He gave sub contracts to Rio Grande Steel to purchase all the steel for both projects.
Now, I ask do you think he would vote for the change order? Of course he would. The more money Enriquez gets the more money Rio Grande Steel gets. Which means more bonus checks for Gene. And that my friends is the way Gene Espinoza does business. And Merry Christmas to all!
