After having Marissa and Irma Marmolejo speak for her at the last school board meeting. We all know what Carmen Gonzalez is shooting for. This coming Tuesday. The board is set to vote. How will they vote? Well, Carmen does have the majority. And she does not want to face the voters of ECISD. So, if she can prolong it six months than so be it.
They would be elected not for three years. But try three and a half years. They would get an extra six months.
They should let the voters decide. They are elected by the people. For the people. I don't understand what the big deal is. Why even change anything? The current system is doing just fine. This thing about losing funds is a bunch of BS.
And to begin with. Why do we have a president that has a history of family violence? She is suppose to be a role model for the kids. Or has that changed also?
And where is Aaron Pena in all this? He should be giving guidance to school board. He voted for the damn thing to begin with. As usual he's nowhere to be found. He's to busy looking for money to run his campaign.
