Why is Aaron Pena running for re election? To help you and me and his dist.? Yeah right! You go into the Delta Area or even into La Joya and people haven't seen Aaron in over three years. What good did Aaron do this session for the people in his dist? Bring a drug treatment center!
Who in the world wants one of those in there back yard? He says he brought 5 million to the RAC. We all know that the 5 million goes to San Antonio and they decide how much to give us and harlingen. He's been misleading the public from day one.
Aaron Pena is running for re election because of one word "money". He needs to win his re election bid in order to claim his retirement. Yes, he could buy into his retirement but that would cost him around $125,000.
So, at the end of the day it's not about helping people in his dist. It's not even about bringing things to his dist. It's all about MONEY! And from the looks of it. He doesn't have much to begin with. So, what do you do if your Aaron Pena?
You lie to the american people. You go out there and mislead the public telling them this and that and you will bring this and that and it's all about the people. Sounds pretty good, huh? And then at the end of the day he gets his retirement and goes back to being a Republican. Which means nothing for Dist. 40!
So what's up with this thing called Retirement?
If Aaron were to get re elected. He would walk away with about $50,000 a year. For the rest of his life. Also, insurance would be included for him and his family.
Remember, the retirement goes up when the dist. Judges salaries goes up. And guess who votes on that? Not bad for only working, what let say, 6 months out of the year. To get $50,000 for the rest of your life. So, who now is getting screwed? Aaron Pena or his dist?
