Hello once again everyone:
I would like to start off by giving a "BIG THUMBS UP"
to our Edinburg School Board.
Thank you for standing up for our children's safety and not listening to Gilbert Garza and Mario Salinas' lies.
I was sitting in the audience with a look of shock when Gilbert Garza stated he knew nothing about any changes being done at the school district police department, then blamed Mario Salinas and Police Lieutenant Mike Barrera for being behind the whole
thing.
He stated they have been working on closing down our school police patrol since March 2007 and have keptthe whole thing to themselves. Mike Barrera didnt even inform his Police Chief or anyone at the police department about what he was
planning to do with Mr. Salinas.
How can a superintendent of the Edinburg School District claim to not know what is going on in his administration building? How can Gilbert Garza continue to lie to our school board members and get away with it? What else have you lied to our school board members about Gilbert Garza? What else have you lied to "US" about?
Several board members then one by one took apart Mario Salinas for authorizing such changes being done without anybody's knowledge. Mario Salinas then tried the best he could to lie his way out of this situation but only looked even more
"RIDICULOUS" for being caught lying to our school board members.
They questioned Mr. Salinas about closing down the police patrol division and also a police k-9 dog that he told school board members was done 2 months ago
when the paperwork was barely processed the day before the meeting on July 30th.
How can Mario Salinas lie to our school board members and put my childrens safety and the children of our district at risk because he doesnt like police
officers in our schools.
That is not your decision Mr. Salinas and I was informed by several people, who actually overheard you on your cell phone leaving the school board meeting
stating that you were still going to close down our school patrol.
Who were you talking to Mario? Were you talking to your partner Police Lieutenant
Mike Barrera? Were you planning your next move?
We all know about your true face now, and I truly hope and pray you rethink your whole strategy because I will be calling every school board member, city
council member, Texas Education Agency or anybody who will listen to :
HOW YOU ARE PURPOSELY PUTTING OUR CHILDRENS LIVES IN
GRAVE DANGER.
Thank god our school board members were able to see
through your lies!!!!
As a tax payer, and parent of the Edinburg School District, I demand my all children be the first priority of our Administration Department.
