People tell me that Richard wants to run again for Edinburg mayor. I say bring it on. I really don't understand why he would want to come back. The people were very clear last time who they wanted as Mayor.
This coming election will be key to see if Richard does come back or not. If Gene and Alma get defeated I really don't see Richard coming back. Richard and the Palacios will have lost the majority on the city council. No more bad things happening in Edinburg. A.K.A Library and Police Station.
Remember that while Richard was in office it was all about the Palacios family and how they could make more money. Richard, Gene and Alma basically told the disabled and elderly to go to hell on the tax freeze. But I think these people are waiting to tell Gene and Alma where to go.
Gene Espinoza is nothing more than a puppet for either the Palacios family or for his employer Rio Grande Steel. If he loses his relection bid. It will be interesting to see if he is even employed with this same company.
As for Alma Garza. She is nothing more than someone who got appointed to office. You ask her a question about something and all you hear is duh, duh, duh I have to talk to Richard about it.
As for the Palacios, well there 0-4 in campaigns. The people of Edinburg finally know what there all about. And it has nothing to do with making Edinburg a better place to live.
