We all know that Aaron Pena is running for re election. He wants to claim his $40,000 retirement. And to do so he needs to get re elected once more. I've been trying to find out which elected democrat is going to help this guy. Well, I found him!
The man that will come out an endorse Republican Aaron Pena is non other than hot check Gene Espinoza. Can you imagine! They both write hot checks. I wonder who will write more? Any Guesses? Hot Check Gene is a close friend of Aaron's. And since Gene is damaged goods and won't run again. He plans to stick out his neck for Aaron. I wonder how Charlie Espinoza feels about all this? He is also going to get an opponent.
As for the Rep being for the teachers:
"The teachers got $1.20 a day raise. That's a slap in the face," said Rep. Juan Escobar, D-Kingsville.
Who else got a raise?
Governor Perry got a $32,000 pay increase to offset his bills. Attorney General got a $25,000 increase, and the Director of the Teachers Retirement System got a $151,000 increase.
And our teachers got a 1% increase of $430. At least consumers aren't the only ones getting screwed.
So why Aaron is telling you all how well he did for his district. The teachers continue to get screwed.
